Use a Landing Page after Inquiry Form for a Better User-Experience
The term “landing page” is thrown around a lot and it can be confusing. In my world, it’s just a page at your website that someone “lands” on, most likely a page you intentionally send them to.
A landing page that someone “lands on” after filling out your inquiry form is considered an Internet marketing best practice. Someone fills in your form, clicks the SEND button, and would be redirected to a custom-designed landing page where you say “Thanks for your inquiry.”
Landing pages are a much friendlier user-experience compared to a quick flashed message “Thank You,” – which by the way, some people may not see, particularly if making an inquiry on a mobile device. Well designed landing pages also improve conversion.
