The more Google knows about your business website the more likely it is to look at it favorably, increase its overall visibility, and ultimately reward it with better rankings (assuming you are using SEO best practices). How do you get more “Google Love?”
Create a Sitemap
A sitemap is a file at your website that lists all of its pages, videos, images and other files. It is just want the name implies, a map of your website for Google and other search engines to use, or “crawl.” If you have a sitemap, and tell Google where it is using the Google Search Console, it will help Google more intelligently crawl your website, thereby creating more Google Love.
If you have a WordPress website creating a sitemap is easy.
If you use the popular Yoast SEO plugin sitemap functionality is built-in. Just make sure it is on and properly configured. [LINK]
