Google Analytics is a free Internet Marketing tool from Google that will track the visitor activity at your website. Using Google Analytics is an Internet Marketing Best Practice.
Google Analytics helps anyone who manages a website monitor activity, identify potentially problematic issues, measure the its overall effectivness, and make better decisions.
You don’t have to login to Google Analytics to get a quick “snap shot” of the activity at your website. You can configure Google Analytics to send you reports via email automatically. When you get your report via email if something looks odd, or you want more detailed information, you can then login to the full system.
In this case I’ve used the Audience Overview report and have it sent to me automatically via email each week on Sunday as a PDF.
When I get the email I click open the PDF attachment and take a quick look.
The option for configuring automated reports is available at the top of any report page in Google Analytics under the Share option.
