As I’ve already talked about, “social proof” is arguably the most important tool in your Internet marketing toolbox. Reviews and testimonials are the lifeblood of your business success today.

To get more testimonials you are going to have to assertively ASK FOR THEM.

Don’t wait for them to come in by themselves, because they rarely do.

Instead, ask your happy customers to give you a review. You may have to ask several times!

Power Tip: Write the testimonial yourself, send it to your happy customer, and ask them to approve it. Often they will approve it as is, sometimes they will make a few adjustments. I get 99% of my testimonials this way (and have a huge list of them here – Practical Online Marketing testimonials).
